The house has a mother-in-law suite and our family live there. The suite and the rental unit have separate entrances, so you won't be sharing any internal space. There is a door in between but it is locked from both sides. Although we have installed heavy duty soundproof material, you may hear some very light muffled noise when you are in the dining room. Outside, you will share the garage, driveway, fully fenced yard and street parking.
