Lille Gossebo (Swedish for "Little Boy's Place") is a delightful, meticulously maintained 3 bedroom 1.5 bath cottage with 100' of private lakefront on Otsego Lake.
Located only 5 miles (8 minutes) from the village of Cooperstown; and 10.3 miles (17 minutes) to Dreams Park; 27 miles (39 minutes) to All-Star Village and 2.8 miles (4 minutes) from Glimmerglass Festival Opera.
This charming cottage sits on a hillside with a large country porch overlooking the lake. Warm knotty pine walls and original wood floors grace the interior spaces. A circular floor plan lends itself to an open and spacious layout on the first floor. The living room and kitchens both open to the gracious front porch with ample seating, where you will likely spend a great deal of your time. The kitchen has a nice counter bar for added seating and conversation.
Upstairs, the Primary (master) bedroom consists of a queen bed, half bath, large closet, and several dressers. Two additional bedrooms; one with a queen bed and dresser, and the other with two twins and dresser are across the hall.
There are window AC units in the primary and twin bedrooms.
Across the road is 100' of private lakefront with deck, dock, fire pit and kayaks for your enjoyment. You are welcome to bring your own boat, or rent one from one of our many fine companies around the lake, if desired.
There is a level side yard from which to take in lake views under the shade of towering pines or to play your favorite lawn games.
