This exceptional Trappers’ Cabin is conveniently located just a short walk from the Ranch Club Compound. PLEASE NOTE: NO UNACCOMPANIED RENTAL GUESTS MAY USE THE PROMONTORY AMENITIES, except that rental guests may use and enjoy the many miles of trails for hiking, enjoy the outdoor park-with sport court, PAR 10 circuit course, outdoor pickleball courts, fishing pond, and coming later in 2025, the low ropes course.
In awarding these cabin's the BUILDER'S CHOICE AWARD in 2008 the judges remarked, 'The rugged good looks of this mountain vacation home made it a clear winner. Shingle roofing, Hand-sculpted Plank & Chink siding, Old-fashioned grid window panes and front & back porch with hot tub, which takes advantage of the mountain vistas complete the authentic details.
Promontory Resort provides everything you could want including hiking/biking trails that turn into cross-country ski trails in the Winter. There is no need to leave the resort to feel like you are on a fantastic vacation; you can feel like you are being pampered one minute and in a wilderness preserve the next. Rental Guests may golf on the Pete Dye, Canyon course for a fee ( a limited number of tee times are available for Unaccompanied Guests ), however non Members may not golf on the Nicholas Painted Valley or short course Sage course, without being accompanied by a member.
