Hiking trail within and adjacent to property. Plenty of parking on property. Garage is not available.

Welcome to your full Colorado experience! Enjoy a hike, watch the wildlife while soaking in the hot tub or mid air during your cannonball into the pool. Whether you're just hangin’ out, in town for a show, or heading to the slopes, this is your spot! Rustic mountain living also comes with some unexpected weather and challenges. Always inquire about any dates you're interested. Travel plans can change, so it's worth a check!

THE SPACE:

4300+ SF on 3 levels offers great gathering spaces and plenty of room to escape the mother-in-law. Sleeps 14 in 6 bedrooms (1 King, 5 Queens, 1 Full), with 4 full baths. 10 wooded acres. All on premise: huge swimming pool, salt water hot tub, billiards, outdoor ping pong, trail access, outdoor sports court, indoor weight room, and most importantly - SMILES!!

OUTSIDE:
• The GOOD Place sits on 10 wooded acres within Mount Falcon Park! Kick back by the pool, go for a hike or shoot some hoops on the sports court.
• “There WILL be bugs” - Daniel (Day-Lewis).
• Miller moths are dumb and are attracted to light, there are mosquitos, but never a huge issue, Spiders are around - generally a good idea to step on them rather than smooch them.
• “There WILL be WEEDS” - Daniel (Day-Lewis). We maintain the natural landscape of the park on purpose. It’s pretty and it keeps the wildlife happy. No manicured greens or pesticides up in here.
• GIANT and deep pool! Concrete decking, multiple lounging spaces.
• Secluded salt-water hot tub with spectacular views that would make Hugh Hefner blush (also has sexy lights)
• Sports court for shooting hoops, ping pong and bags. Not a full sized b-ball court, but great for a game of H.O.R.S.E.
• Terrific outdoor lighting
• LOTS of wildlife!! Expect to see mule deer, elk, falcons, cool small mammals, wild turkeys, the occasional fox and hear the coyotes! The hummingbirds are regulars to our feeders during the spring and summer. We have a local black bear that you will see if you leave any food out overnight - so don’t do that! It’s not good for him or the possibility of not pooping your pants should there be a run in. Mountain lions, lynx and bobcats are in the area, but it’s very rare you will see one. They have huge territories and we have not had a sighting yet.
Guest access:
• Guests have access to the entire house, with the exception of the garage and a few closets that are labeled "private"
PETS:
• $100 extra cleaning fee/per dog/per visit.
• You are expected to pick up any "deposits" your animals make.
• We have a fenced in area on the side of the house that will keep most dogs in.
Other things to note:
• 4WD/AWD and winter tires are highly recommended for Colorado visits during the cold months (October-May). The road is paved and maintained, but big storms happen. We can get the occasional storm outside of those months, so be prepared!
• A septic system we are on - please don’t put tampons down our John! NOT KIDDING - nothing but peeps, poops and T.P. Your shoes are too cute for overflowing toilet water.
**MUST READ***
WATER-
• Our water comes from our well, so it is limited. If it’s a full house - showers should be staggered, and if not staggered - very quick. (The pool is always a great backup plan!)
• We will show you how to recharge the well upon arrival if the water pressure drops during your stay.
POOL-
Open Memorial weekend through Labor Day weekend.
• The pool temperature will always average around 80 degrees during this season. We can heat to 90+ degrees for an additional fee of $100/day.
• Inclement weather happens, even in June! So, please check the weather before arrival if you intend to use the pool. 80 degrees can be chilly if it’s not warm out.
• Pool heat charge will apply for each day of your entire stay.
• This is a passthrough cost for the gas necessary for heating (i.e. you’re just payin’ for the propane to make it happen).
