This home is tucked away in a beautiful, hidden, historic district neighborhood away from traffic and city noise. Our 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom house has been designed with you in mind, featuring modern amenities and tasteful decor! Our home has a built-in BBQ grill with a kitchen and a bar at swimming poolside, an open floor plan, and a long driveway to fit 4 cars.
Wrigley Historic Home is nestled in the heart of Long Beach, the Wrigley Historic District bears the name of renowned chewing gum magnate William Wrigley Jr who envisioned and developed this distinguished 12-acre neighborhood between 1928 and 1934. This two-block enclave, located along Eucalyptus Avenue between Hill Street and 20th Street, is celebrated for its striking collection of Spanish Colonial Revival residences—many of which have been meticulously preserved in their original architectural form.
Designated as a historic district by the City of Long Beach in 1990, the neighborhood encompasses 46 architecturally significant structures. Graceful eucalyptus trees and well-manicured lawns line the avenue, enhancing the area’s timeless charm and refined character.
For your convenience, our home is equipped with a Roomba to keep the floors tidy and an Alexa to assist with music, information, and more—just ask!
Our beautiful kitchen is the place to be if you enjoy cooking. It features an open floor plan with an island, stainless steel appliances, Keurig coffee bar, wooden box with a variety of teas, TV with smart plug, Alexa and, of course, everything you need to prepare that special meal for your loved ones or just to relax with your favorite drink. You will also find the dining table with a board game for the kids, or adults, to play while dinner is ready. Also, you might be able to see the humming birds through the window feeding themselves with the nectar of the flowers (when in season) from our beautiful Largeleaf Lantana shrub while you enjoy your morning coffee. We also have a stainless steel washer and dryer beautifully tucked into a custom-made open cabinet.
The living room is perfect for you to lounge and relax with a beautiful quartzite stone fireplace. (Not for use)
In the backyard, you will be able to enjoy the swimming pool and hot tub, full built-in BBQ kitchen with stainless steel appliances, bar, 2 dining tables, a firepit table and plenty of seating for you to enjoy with family and friends. The swimming pool/spa has a smart system that is controlled with a smartphone by host. For your enjoyment and convenience, just reach out to me when you are ready to use the hot tub. The pool is not heated, but you can request to be heated for $150 daily.
In the front yard, you will be able to enjoy the seats under our beautiful Australian Umbrella tree, which gives privacy from the neighborhood, perhaps with a glass of wine.
The family room has french wooden doors which face the swimming pool. It features a fresh beach theme, Long Beach scenes wall decor, board games, wall mounted TV, tasteful furniture, and a remote-controlled fireplace heater tv stand. This is definitely the perfect place to gather with family and friends after a day of swimming to have a movie night or enjoy a game night!
The bathroom down the hallway has a his-and-hers sink, perfect for those morning rushes. The second bathroom is away from the bedrooms perfect for privacy.
Our office is also for you to use. It has a computer, a printer (cartridge and paper not provided), a big desk, bookshelf, note pads, and pens.
