This residential Maple Street address is one of the oldest in the town of Stowe, dating back to the mid-1700's. Sadly, the original farmhouse built on this location sat empty and abandoned for many years, consequently deteriorating beyond repair. As homage to the old dwelling, we were able to salvage and repurpose many of its original hand-hewn timbers and give them renewed life and purpose in the Vermont Modern Farmhouse we designed and recently completed construction on.
We trust our guests will enjoy a thoughtful balancing of old and new, style and comfort, coziness and openness, privacy and connection designed into the new home, all the way down to the fine details.
